Quick Build Dorms (QBDs) are one of such temporary structures which are meant to house workers for a few years before being demolished and rebuilt wherever they are needed in other locations which generates more waste than necessary, adding to the carbon emissions. It is thus essential to engage in carbon saving strategies for the End-of-Life (EoL) phase of QBDs through recycling, remanufacturing and reuse to achieve net zero embodied carbon.
